fall harvest:
Way too many tomatoes this year. Couldn’t keep up with the harvest. But at least now I have gallons of frozen tomato sauce!
thinning the tomatoes:
The volunteer tomatoes came up in clusters, naturally. We finally had to thin them out so as to ensure that at least one plant from each cluster has a chance to thrive.
cilantro:
We’re about to be on our third generation of volunteer cilantro, since this bolts to seed quickly.
THANK YOU!
Another successful workday at 62Garden… 4 areas of fence built or fixed; 4 plots built; water hose run under the sidewalk; a wonderful day!
We had a GREAT workday today; thank you to everyone who was able to make it out. We picked up FIFTEEN bags of trash, woodchipped 100s of feet of pathways, and rebuilt the fence that the blizzard took down.
We’ll be back out on the 23rd for another workday and activities for the pint-sized gardeners. See you then and thanks again for all your help today!

See you out there!
